The Standard Transfers option is used to set up "recipes" or templates for planned transfers that use multiple raw materials to make one common finished good. The standard planned transfer creates the relationship between raw material ingredients needed to produce a batch of the finished good item or work-in-process item that requires further processing or packing. The standard planned transfer is then used in Planned Transfers to calculate the demand on the raw material, based on the number of batches of the finished goods item that are needed.
